Paris.........not part of the original plan.

So here we are. A weekend in Paris. But not because we wanted to be. We had planned to spend Easter with My hubby's brother and family in Budapest, Hungary where they now live and he pastors a church. Three days after we obtained our tickets to visit them the Hungarian airline went bankrupt and Germany requested all the leased planes be returned. We tried every combination of other airlines to get to see their family and we did eventually find a way to get there......but no way to leave. So we lost our connecting flight into Hungary and that is how we wound up in Paris for Easter and we will just try to buck up and make the best of it.

Happy Easter you two! Wish I could write that in French.

Cheer up, I know you will find some way to find the silver lining in the situation... Easter service at Notre Dame? Croissants for breakfast? A stroll through a Monet museum or a Rodin sculpture garden? We'll be thinking of you as we crack eggs. (Nice blog by the way!)
